David Chlumsky, our very distinguished pro-angler will be your guide.

David is a member of the highly acclaimed Czech fly fishing team. He started fly fishing at the age of fourteen and has been fishing competitively using this beautiful technique since his introduction into the sport.

David has fished in many countries, accumulating a string of achievements along the way. On a National level, amongst his greatest accomplishments are 3 Individual National Titles and 2 gold medals from the 1st League, the top Competition in Czech Republic. Internationally, David boasts a gold medals and other medals from the World and European Championships.

David has been a professional guide for several years and plenty of happy clients from all over the world have benefited from his expertise. Our service is tailor made to satisfy each client’s individual needs and include guiding for individuals or groups. Fishing could be focused on any technique for instance nymph, dry and wet fly, streamer and still water fishing to name but a few. Fly tying could also be addressed.

Clients could decide which species of fish they would like to target, and suitable locations would be agreed; In the Czech Republic there are primarily 2 rivers, the Vltava and Otava rivers. However, it is also possible to travel further afield. Countries like Slovakia and Slovenia with their rivers are just to more examples of where fly fishing could be arranged. If you so wish and prefer, David could travel to you and show you his skills on your local river or fishing club. This visit could include fly tying, Hends Products material demonstrations or equipment preparation.

Fishing equipment could be provided if needed.
