    First, the story of how I "met CDC." It was almost 50 years ago when Peter Vrablec, an incredible expert on feathers and other materials even back then, came to Moravia for a "seminar" to introduce us primarily to the use of feathers, and one of the topics was CDC feathers, which were unknown to us at the time. Since then, this feather has become one of the most important materials for fly tying.

    Our beige CDC is quite rare. Since it is made from natural, uncolored feathers, it is ensured that it floats very well and does not change its color. This also makes it much easier to care for these flies during use, as we describe below.

    Product detailed description

    Our CDC flies are made from the highest quality CDC feathers. Therefore, we recommend applying a coating to these feathers while fishing, but only using products designed for this purpose, such as Dry Wing, Blue Ribbon, and others. During fishing, the quality of the feathers gradually decreases, so it is a good idea to dry the fly again before putting it back in the box and lightly apply CDC Oil. Then it will be like new again.
