CDC Fluid Pro is an exceptionally thin floatant for dry flies, especially those tied with CDC feathers. Its low viscosity lets it penetrate the whole fly, right down to the individual fibres, coating them with a fine water-repellent layer. The fly does not float just because it is light – its materials do not absorb water but actively repel it. The fluid does not weigh the fly down or mat the feathers.
