MOP NYMPH – flies that really work. To create these flies, we made a special design and material composition of chenille. Here is a short guide on how to make a truly effective fly from Mop Chenille. For smaller fish, we use hook BL164 size 12-16, and for larger fish, BL144 or BL134. The tungsten head diameter is 2.3-3.5 mm. The Mop Chenille has a diameter of 3 mm. The Mop Chenille are made so that some mimic the cases of caddisflies and some mimic the bodies of worms. This is because we successfully catch fish such as barbel, chub, bleak, and others on these flies. The imitations of caddisfly cases are great for trout and grayling.When making flies, it is important to follow a few simple rules. The end of the chenille needs to be "sealed" over a candle or lighter. The chenille must be tied to the hook behind the core of the chenille, which consists of two thin threads. The length of the body should be approximately twice the length of the hook shank. The combination of colors of the beads and the body is up to each of you; we have found that the colors T have worked very well.
