First the story of how I "met CDC", It is almost 50 years since Peter Vrablec, an incredible expert in feathers and other materials, came to us in Moravia for a "seminar", to introduce us to the use of feathers, and one of the points was CDC feathers, which were unknown to us at that time.

Since then, these feathers have become one of the most important materials for tying flies. I first saw these mayflies with V-shaped wings at one of our most famous fly fishermen, Slávka Svoboda, many years ago. The fly in the picture is one of the most universal dry flies that I try always and everywhere and it has rarely disappointed me.
